About

This blog is such a neat way to communicate what God is teaching me, and where He’s working through Mission: Possible! Austin.

MPA exists to connect followers of Christ in Austin to serve the poor and perishing, and to empower people unto life transformation through the love of Christ. We have 3 areas of ministry: Austin’s street population, children living in poverty, and the neighborhood surrounding 12th & Chicon St. in Central East Austin.

Benjamin and I are full time missionaries, serving as coordinators of MP’s children’s programming: Project Intercept. May God bless you here as you read testimonies of His love and faithfulness.

Yeah! You’ve gotten off to a great start in your new journey…with lots of speed bumps and U-turns in the road already, haha! I praise God for how he has marvelously prepared you for this time and how he is using you, Cheryl!

    Cheryl,
What a blessing to have you on our team at MPA! I remember when you were just a little girl that I called Cheryl Ann and Jacob was bigger but still a little guy. And to work with you almost every day and realize you are married seems almost unreal.
I’ve watched you grow even in the short time you’ve been on staff and it’s such a blessing to see you in your element with the kids. Thanks for your captivating smile around NYACC and I look forward to many years of working together. Love you.

Congratulations on “Baby Lowe” and if I can be of any use to you, please contact me. I have an extensive library of books on pregnancy and childcare that I would be glad to share with you (and MPA). I recently had “neck replacement surgery” but have lots of experience with infants once I mend a little. I believe the Lord led me to you this morning and I just want you to know that I’m here for whatever purpose He has for you to use me.
God bless you and MPA, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi…strange thing.. I was googling 19 week pregnant belly pics and your blog came up! I was scrolling down to see if there were more belly pics & Round Top, TX caught my eye… So strange when I saw you had a golden retriever too. I grew up 7 miles from Round Top, TX, have a golden, and am 19 weeks pregnant. All too strange I thought.. I see that you’re a missionary – awesome. I don’t feel too weird about messaging you bc I think God works in mysterious ways. If anything I just wanted to say God bless you & your growing family. Thanks for posting a belly pic., though! I wish mine were more “bumpy”. lol
